A Laurelton bodega owner was shot to death last night in what sources said was a botched robbery.

Juan Torres, 54, of East New York, was gunned down inside his shop on Merrick Boulevard near 221st Street after his attacker entered just before 11 p.m. and fired a slug into his head, according to police reports.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30’s early 40’s. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt.

Sources said the Torres’ brother was inside the store shortly after the shooting and called 911.

Torres was pronounced dead at the scene when responders arrived.

It was not immediately clear whether anything was taken.
