A gunman fired off a round before swiping a necklace and Buddha pendant — worth $50,000 in total — from a man on a street in South Williamsburg, cops said Monday.
The 56-year-old victim was standing outside an auto repair shop on Bartlett Street near Harrison Avenue around 9:10 a.m. Sept. 21 when the suspect walked up to him and pulled out a gun, cops said.
Surveillance video released early Monday shows the gunman holding the weapon, pointed toward the ground.
The suspect warned the victim not to run, according to cops — but the clip shows him bolting and the suspect taking off behind him.
The victim fled into the garage, where he fell, cops said.
The gunman then fired off a single round — which did not strike the victim — and took off with the pricey jewelry and religious pendant, authorities said.
