Two gunmen who engaged in a shootout between Brooklyn cops were arrested on Friday night, police said.

Quashawn Smith, 23, and Davon Morrison, 24, allegedly opened fire on plainclothes officers driving in an unmarked vehicle in Brooklyn at around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

The officers returned fire as Smith and Morrison fled on foot, cops said. A gun was recovered at the scene.

Both Smith and Morrison face charges of attempted murder and attempted assault on a police officer in addition to reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
