The native New Yorker and St. John’s grad behind the feds’ latest crusade against gun violence is cracking down on illegal weapons.

“One of our principle goals is to keep firearms out of the hands of violent criminals,” Joseph Anarumo Jr., special agent in charge of the NY Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said yesterday.
