Sickened Ground Zero workers who accepted the city’s settlement offer will start getting checks within 20 days, officials announced yesterday.

Christine LaSala, president of the WTC Captive Insurance Co., said lawyers had signed the papers affirming the deal and authorizing the payouts.

More than 98 percent of 10,000-plus eligible plaintiffs accepted the city’s offer, worth $662.5 million.
