Disabled riders say they aren’t getting a fair share of taxis.

Only 232 of 13,200 cabs are handicapped-accessible — about 1.8 percent of the fleet — which violates federal laws, claims a first-of-its-kind class-action lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court yesterday.

The plaintiffs, led by United Spinal, claim the current number of handicapped-accessible cabs prevents the 1.6 million New Yorkers with a disability and the 60,000 who use a wheelchair the basic rights to get to work.

A TLC spokesman said, “No federal or local law requires that taxicabs be accessible.”
