Hallmark is suing a Long Island distributor for allegedly selling 8 million “unauthorized” Hallmark cards on the cheap.

The 73 truckloads of cards were supposed to be destroyed, not resold, Hallmark says in Brooklyn federal court papers filed against Dickens Inc.

But Dickens chief James Chou fired back at Hallmark: “Your own direct sales to big discount chains like BJ’s and Costco are actually doing much more damage to your brands.”
