Cops were hunting Saturday night for a handcuffed prisoner who slipped out of custody near the Brooklyn House of Detention.

The prisoner, identified by cops as Jose, Bisono, 31, bolted from police at 5:40 p.m. on Schermerhorn Street despite being cuffed with both hands behind his back.

Cops had been transporting him to Central Booking.

A K-9 unit was sent to the scene, and a police helicopter joined in the search.

On Jan. 9, a handcuffed prisoner escaped from a parole office in Jamaica, Queens; that man, Dwight Dobson, remains at large.
