A handcuffed prisoner escaped police custody in lower Manhattan on Friday night, cops said.

The man, who had been arrested on suspicion of petit larceny, fled from the First Precinct station house in Tribeca at about 7:30 p.m., according to police.

Cops were on the lookout for the escapee.

He was described as having facial hair and a thin build while wearing blue jeans and white sneakers.
