Bronx cops are searching for a handcuffed man who escaped police custody during a botched arrest late Thursday night.

Officers had observed ­Arius Hopkins, 22, trying to dispose of drugs and apprehended him near White Plains Road and Arnow ­Avenue in Allerton just before 11 p.m., police said.

Hopkins fled from police after he was placed in handcuffs for the narcotics-related arrest. He was last seen on Bronx Park East.
