A two-story building under construction in The Bronx collapsed yesterday, killing one of the three workers on the site.
The commercial structure, on Stratford Avenue in Soundview, came tumbling down at 12:15 p.m., according to firefighters, who pulled Muhamed Kebbeh, 51, out of the rubble — only to learn later that the father of three died at Jacobi Hospital.
The city Buildings Department traced the collapse to an exterior column between the second and third floors and issued the contractors a full stop-work order.
