A Harlem Hospital doctor was cleared of sex charges yesterday in a bizarre, doctor-patient ER groping incident.

Dr. Manish Garg, a shy and diminutive bachelor, had been on trial all week in Manhattan Supreme Court, accused of molesting a curvaceous young patient who had passed out in a curtained exam room last fall.

The 24-year-old freelance makeup artist from The Bronx had tearfully told jurors that she woke up to an unwelcome breast exam.

“I ask him, ‘What are you doing?’ ” she testified. After telling her that he found her “beautiful” and “sexy,” Garg then took her hand “and placed it on his private area,” she claimed.

But jurors also heard a secretly taped phone conversation, set up by prosecutors, that supported the doctor’s insistence that the woman had groped him, not the other way around.

In the call, the woman presses the doctor, flirtatiously, for information, and the doctor eagerly reminisces about their fleeting romance.

“So, did you check out my whole body?” she asked him, according to a defense transcript. “Oh, I saw, but I didn’t do anything,” he answered.

“You picked up my hand,” he told her. “Yeah, then you again take my hand and put it on your breast.”
