The trial of a shock blogger accused of threatening to kill three federal judges ended abruptly yesterday when both sides rested.
Prosecutors had lined up approximately 18 witnesses against Hal Turner, including the three Chicago judges who are alleged victims in the case.
They wound up calling just a few law-enforcement officials to the stand to testify against Hal Turner, 47, in Brooklyn federal court.
The defense planned to counter with New Jersey’s Gov.-elect Chris Christie, but never got to that point.
Turner, of North Bergen, NJ, did not testify.
