A Queens man who was facing up to 25 years in prison on charges of attempted murder as a hate crime was cleared yesterday after prosecutors dropped the case, saying his accuser’s identification of the alleged attacker was unreliable after two months in a coma.

Lamell Jones, 24, was arrested in February for a 2008 gang assault on Risto Prendzov in Ozone Park.

Prendzov had told investigators that Jones and two other black men called him a “white trash faggot.”
