Come next year, staffers at the Health Department may have to leave their building to buy a nondiet Pepsi.
The beverage-vending machines in the department’s headquarters at 125 Worth St. will be reconfigured in 2010, when the city’s contract with the current vendor expires, Mayor Bloomberg said yesterday.
He was reacting to a story in The Post that questioned why the health agency was still making Pepsi and other high-calorie drinks available to its workers when it has lambasted those very same drinks in hard-hitting ads.
