Heavily armed federal agents rammed down the door of actor Timothy Busfield’s upstate New York home in a dramatic raid on Tuesday — less than an hour after he turned himself in to police in Albuquerque on child sex abuse charges, according to a report.
At least 10 US Marshal’s officers from the New York Regional Fugitive Task Force busted through the front door with a battering ram at the “West Wing” star’s residence in Highland Lake, about 20 minutes from the Pennsylvania border in the Catskill Mountains, the Daily Mail reported.
The officers, wearing helmets and armed with assault rifles and riot gear, searched inside the house for about 10 minutes but found nobody inside. They then moved to the rear of the property and searched an RV parked there and an outhouse, according to the outlet.

Less than an hour before the New York raid some 2,000 miles away, Busfield had turned himself in to the Albuquerque Police Department after cops alleged he engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with 11-year-old twin boys while directing the Fox show “The Cleaning Lady” in 2024.

The alleged abuse began in 2022, when the boys were 7 years old, according to court documents.
A criminal investigation began in 2024 when a physician notified police about suspected sexual abuse after examining one of the children at the University of New Mexico Hospital, according to the complaint.

Busfield’s lawyer, Larry Stein, told The Post the disturbing allegations were driven by revenge.
Stein claimed the boys’ mother told an actress on the New Mexico set she wanted payback after her sons were cut from the show’s final season.
Attorneys for Warner Bros., which produced “The Cleaning Lady,” told police that an earlier independent investigation into the accusations found no evidence to support the claims, the complaint alleged.
