The storied seaside Connecticut mansion built by Katharine Hepburn is up for grabs — for a cool $28 million.

She built the 8,300-

square-foot house in 1939 as the centerpiece of a 3½-acre estate on the shores of Long Island Sound.

Hepburn lived there until her death in 2003 at age 96.
