A 16-year-old Bronx girl vowed love to her boyfriend as he lay dying on a Morrisania sidewalk, a witness to Thursday night’s shooting said yesterday.

“Don’t leave me. I love you,” Aniik Wallace told a gasping José Webster.

They had been walking on Teller Avenue at about 8:50 p.m. when two men approached, according to the witness, and one asked José, “Are you gunning?”

Then one pulled a gun and shot José in the chest.

“I knew him for four years, and this year we were officially going out,” said Aniik. “We laughed together; we cried together. He was just an outgoing person. His life was a little messed up.”

José had been arrested on weapon- and marijuana-possession charges.

“He told me he was going to change and better himself,” she said. “He said we could work it out, together.”
