Get this guy a cape!

A Brooklyn store clerk turned into a real-life action hero when he chased after a robbery suspect, jumped on the alleged thief’s car and hung on for two blocks, police sources said yesterday.

“As he’s coming towards me, I jumped on,” the brave assistant manager, Kenneth Uribe (pictured), 36, told The Post.

“He slammed on his brakes because he couldn’t shake me.”

The skirmish began inside Jetro, a restaurant-supply store on Hamilton Avenue in Red Hook, last Thursday, when Uribe spotted Thomas Desimone allegedly shoplifting four packages of bacon, a half-gallon of honey and a box of chicken, sources said.

Uribe — who recognized Desimone from a memo mentioning he had earlier stolen from another store location — confronted the suspect.

“He’s been stealing from us for a while, that’s the main reason I got on the hood,” Uribe said. “I wanted to let him know he wasn’t allowed here and formally expel him from the customer list.”

After the wild two-block chase, Uribe was thrown off the Volkswagen station wagon and Desimone escaped empty handed, but was nabbed Tuesday, sources said. J
