Dorm-room stoners rejoice!
Mayoral candidate John Liu announced yesterday that he wanted to legalize pot in New York City and use the tax revenue to reduce tuition at CUNY.
The city comptroller said the move could raise up to $400 million annually. But there a problem; the mayor can’t do so without state Legislature approval.
Liu made the comment as he finds himself at just 6 percent in the race for the nomination, trailing every other major Democratic candidate.
