A high-powered p.r. exec whose husband stole her employer’s secrets for an insider-trading scheme is pleading with a judge to keep him out of prison.

Nina Devlin — dubbed the “golden goose” by hubby Matt’s crooked pals — says she needs him around to care for their 3-year-old son due to her “demanding work and travel schedule.”

She also praised his “endless patience, creativity and enthusiasm in his role as a stay-at-home dad” since flushing his career as a stockbroker.

“I cannot even begin to imagine the pain [the son] would feel if he were separated from his father for any length of time,” she wrote in a letter filed yesterday in Manhattan federal court.

Under federal guidelines, Matt Devlin faces at least 37 months behind bars when he’s sentenced later this month for securities fraud and conspiracy to commit insider trading.

He is asking for probation for his cooperation in providing feds a “roadmap” of the scam and secretly recording numerous conversations with his co-conspirators.
