Police were called to the robbery around 2:10 a.m. and saw the three men fleeing — with cash and the store clerk’s wallet — as they pulled up to the chain store at Northern Boulevard and 171st Street in Flushing, cops said.

The driver, 29, and his two pals, a 21-year-old and a 22-year-old, all hopped into a Nissan Altima and sped off with cops hot on their tail, sources said.

Police tried to pull the car over, but the crooks got on the Long Island Expressway, where they tried to toss the stolen wallet, cops said.

They then veered off the highway at the Utopia Parkway exit and crashed the car into a deli at Pigeon Meadow Road and 164th Street, where the vehicle burst into flames, cops said.

The thugs were taken to Flushing Hospital for treatment of their injuries, and charges against them are pending, cops said. Police recovered a shotgun from inside the car, though it was not immediately clear if the gun was used during the robbery, cops said.

The 21-year-old has a broken hip, the 22-year-old has a broken left hand and the driver was uninjured, cops said.
