A Manhattan software company says the New York Lottery is illegally using the company’s patented technology.

PixFusion, which filed suit last month, holds two patents for a “method and apparatus for producing an electronic image” that helps superimpose a head shot on a different body.

The lottery’s Sweet Million Sweetscape lets users upload photos into animated scenes with talking animals and an angel tossing money from a cloud.

A lottery spokeswoman didn’t return a call for comment.
