Karla Giraldo was platered, not tipsy when she turned up at boyfriend Hiram Monserrate’s apartment the night he hit her in the face with a glass, her cousin testified yesterday in Queens Supreme Court.

Jasmina Rojas, giving wandering and sometimes contradictory testimony, said Giraldo had apparently been drinking early in the evening before the alleged assault.

“When I picked her up at her apartment [to take her to a Christmas party], she seemed happy, like she had a few little drinks,” Rojas said through an interpreter.

As the evening wore on, Giraldo became unsteady on her feet, and became “bor racha” (extremely drunk), not “mareada” (tipsy), said Rojas, who drove Giraldo home and escorted her upstairs to Queens pol Monserrate’s Jackson Heights apartment.
