State Sen. Hiram Monserrate yesterday blasted the “political bosses” he said were illegally trying to strip him of his seat after his misdemeanor-assault conviction.
“No one else can decide but the people,” the Queens Democrat said at a Jackson Heights rally.
A Senate committee has declared Monserrate, convicted in October after a clash with his girlfriend, unfit to serve.
