A 70-year-old man was critically injured when a hit-and-run driver struck him while he tried to cross a Brooklyn street on his motorized scooter Wednesday, police said.

The victim was within the crosswalk on 25th Street in Gravesend at about 3:45 p.m. when a white Kia ran him down, police sources said.

He was admitted to Lutheran Hospital.
