An off-duty police detective crossing the street was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Queens Wednesday night.

The Housing cop, who is stationed in Brooklyn, was crossing at Cooper Avenue and 80th Street in Middle Village when he was ­injured, sources said.

He suffered a head laceration and was recovering at Jamaica Hospital.

Police were searching for the driver early Thursday morning.
