A hit-and-run driver killed a rollerblader on a Brooklyn street Saturday night — striking the skater with such force that the body wound up wedged under a parked car.
The driver sped off on Powell Street in East New York, hitting two vehicles at a stop sign, another occupied car and two parked cars, authorities said.
He then bailed out of the Jeep and ran, but cops busted him nearby.
Five people in the cars were hurt, but none suffered a life-threatening injury.
Resident Jessica Jackson was outraged. “Something has to change,’’ she said. “He just hit them and thought he would get away with it. That’s sad.’’
Latoya Jones said, “Someone on the street was yelling, ‘They hit a guy on skates.’ ’’
