More than 400 geese were rounded up in Prospect Park and executed as part of a drive to keep flocks away from La Guardia and JFK airports.

Among those killed were Beaky, who became an avian celebrity when he lost the top of his beak to a fish hook, and Target, who survived being shot by an arrow, reports The Brooklyn Paper. The bird-free zone was expanded to the park last year.
