’Tis the season . . . for drunken Santas to stagger through the city like a bunch of booze-soaked fruitcakes annoying everyone in sight.

On Saturday, a legion of liquored-up louts clad in Kris Kringle outfits will hold the dreaded annual Village bar crawl called SantaCon.

Hundreds of people dressed as Santa are expected to participate in the event, which in recent years has become so out of control that the NYPD is planning to deploy extra cops.

“Their whole idea is to be jerks,” said Lalji Guha, a bartender at the Blind Tiger on Bleecker Street.

“They’re probably from New Jersey and Staten Island.”
