Five people were injured in a four-car accident in the Holland Tunnel early yesterday, a Port Authority spokesman said.

It’s unclear what sparked the pile-up, at about 1 a.m. in the north tunnel.

The injured were treated at the Jersey City Medical Center for neck, back and head injuries, officials said.

The PA closed part of the tube until about 2:45 a.m.
