The Hollywood Bowl, Southern California’s iconic open-air amphitheater perched under the Hollywood Hills, just unveiled a star-studded 2026 summer season.

The renowned shell is leaning heavily into nostalgia, powerhouse vocals and tributes for its upcoming slate.

Visitors can expect genre-blending collaborations and a bittersweet send-off for Gustavo Dudamel, one of the most celebrated conductors in modern classical music.

Announced on Feb. 18, the season officially kicks off June 20 with a salute to Broadway and a fireworks spectacular.

Key headliners this summer include The Beach Boys, OneRepublic, Jon Batiste, The Roots, Nas, Gin Blossoms, Bob Moses, Blues Traveler, Al Green, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson and more.

In honor of America’s birthday, The Beach Boys will take the stage with special guest John Stamos for a “Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular” — a three-night celebration of surf rock classics and pyrotechnics.

For Juneteenth, Chance the Rapper will headline a “a musical celebration of Black freedom.” On June 21, Ziggy Marley and Burning Spear will anchor Reggae Night XXIV, and jazz lovers will get their fix with two nights of the Blue Note Jazz Festival.

But this year’s season has a distinctly dramatic arc: it’s characterized by the final summer of Dudamel at the helm of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

After 17 years shaping the classical music scene in LA, Dudamel will be honored with a four-night tribute series titled “Celebrating Gustavo at the Bowl.”

In a rare crossover, Foo Fighters will take the Bowl stage on Aug. 22 backed by the LA Phil and Youth Orchestra Los Angeles.

Also collaborating with orchestral forces are St. Vincent with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra on Aug. 2.

Tickets are expected to go on sale in May, but subscriptions and special packages are available to purchase online now.
