The widow of a Hollywood producer with credits on “Batman and Robin” and “Cheech and Chong’s Still Smokin’” is suing a taxi driver and the cab’s owner for her husband’s death.
Susan MacGregor-Scott says cabbie Jagdev Singh’s careless driving led to a Sept. 17, 2017, crash that “severely injured” her husband Peter Macgregor-Scott as he was entering the car — and ultimately caused his “wrongful death,” according to a suit filed in Manhattan Civil court Tuesday.
Peter Macgregor-Scott died Oct. 29, 2017, due to “complications from a taxi accident,” according to his IMBD page, which credits him as a producer on several Cheech and Chong movies, two ‘90s-era Batman flicks, and the dark comedy “Death to Smoochy.”
The lawsuit did not spell out what injuries led to the death and MacGregor-Scott’s lawyer declined to comment.
The widow is seeking $5 million in damages.
Singh did not respond to messages left at numbers associated with him in public records.
