Holy shootout
These teen terrors better go to confession.
Parolee Jonathan Vasquez, 18, and a 14-year-old boy fired several gunshots at a Port Richmond church in Staten Island, shattering two windows, law-enforcement sources said yesterday.
The suspects were standing in a parking lot near St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church on Richmond Terrace at around 2 a.m. Sept. 10, when Vasquez, on parole for a 2007 felony assault, allegedly fired three slugs at the windows.
The youths fled, but were busted Tuesday based on a witness’ descriptions.
A spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan said they were charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and weapon possession.
