A homeless man has been charged in connection to a Lower East Side stabbing that critically injured a 30-year-old man, cops said Thursday.
Asaun Johnson, 24, was arrested Wednesday and charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal drug possession in connection to the violent incident just before noon Saturday, cops said.
Johnson allegedly stabbed his victim in the chest during a squabble outside 204 Forsyth St., according to police.
The unidentified victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he remained in critical condition Thursday, according to police.
