A homeless man was stabbed when he was attacked by a group of men near Union Square on Monday, police said.

The 39-year-old victim was attacked by five or six people near the corner of Union Square East and E. 14th St. around 2:30 a.m.

One of the men in the group stabbed the victim in the chest, and then he and his pals fled, cops said.

The injured man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he is expected to survive, police said.

No arrests have been made.
