A deranged homeless man jonesing for a smoke viciously attacked a man with a broken bottle outside a Manhattan bus terminal, authorities said.

The 57-year-old victim was walking outside Port Authority Bus Terminal on 41st near 8th Avenue around 10:30 a.m.,Tuesday, when Candido Jerez, 47, asked him for a cigarette, Port Authority Police said.

When he refused Jerez—6 feet tall and 180 pounds– took a glass bottle from his pocket, broke it on the ground, and slashed him in the chest, face, and hand, police sources said.

The victim was drenched in blood when Port Authority Police arrived and cuffed the maniac, sources said.

The man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he received over 80 stitched, cops said.

Jerez was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
