A homeless transgender woman got some legal shelter from the city’s courts Monday.

Just last month, trans activist Mariah Lopez

won the right to keep her service dog

at Marsha’s House, the East 185th Street homeless shelter where she sleeps.

The suit over her dog, Chica, was at least the sixth she’s filed against the city since 2009.

Lopez was back in Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday asking a judge to block the Department of Homeless Services from moving her out of the trans-specific facility.

City lawyer Tom Roberts claimed the shelter wants her out because she’s threatened employees six times.

Lopez, 32, countered that the department is trying to silence her for filing suits against the city, and collecting $51,000 in settlements.

“I am being the proverbial squeaky wheel,” she said in court.

Judge Barbara Jaffe issued a temporary stay blocking department officials from moving Lopez pending a further hearing on the matter.
