A Brooklyn homeowners association spent more than $18,500 in repairs after its faulty elevator was shut down by the city — and now it’s suing the Quebec-based manufacturer for selling the defective device in the first place.
The association, at 473 Hicks St. in Cobble Hill, is suing Global Tardif in Manhattan federal court.
