Bunny got back.
New York’s fattest rabbit, a 25-pound gentle giant named Ruby (patted above by Jackie McGowan), waddled out this weekend to greet kids at the Queens Zoo — just in time for Easter.
At five years old and nearly the size of Lassie, she’s the hare-raising star of the zoo’s three king-sized cottontails.
“I’ve never seen such a big bunny,” said Linda Schirling, of Middle Village. “It just sits there and doesn’t hop.”
The rotund rabbit is called a Flemish giant, a docile breed that originated in 17th-century Belgium.
