The athlete who died after suffering a medical problem in the Hudson during Saturday’s Iron Man competition was a Hong Kong police superintendent named Andy Naylor, the South China Morning Post reported last night.
The 43-year-old cop is survived by his wife, Lynn, and three daughters.
“It gives me some comfort that Andy died doing something that he loved,’’ his wife wrote in an on-line post. “But we will miss him sorely.’’
