New York’s youngest serious criminal is heading to a lockdown for teens.
Danny Gonzalez, the 13-year-old Brooklyn boy who admitted to a string of apartment thefts, leaves tomorrow for a year and a half at an upstate “limited secure” facility run by the state Office of Children & Family Services.
He’ll be housed there with other youthful convicts, take classes, and be offered vocational training, after pleading guilty last month to multiple burglary charges in Manhattan and Queens and an assault rap in Brooklyn.
