MAPLE SHADE, NJ — A New Jersey medical marijuana facility will face questions from the public for the first time next week.

Compassionate Sciences Alternative Treatment Center is one of six organizations with state licenses to sell pot legally to patients in New Jersey.

It’s planning to have its dispensary in southern New Jersey’s Maple Shade, but it must first get approval from the town’s zoning board.

A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.

New Jersey officials say key regulations of the new industry will be finalized by the end of this year.
