A Kennedy Airport mail-handler with a long-standing beef against his boss — and who had vowed to kill her — stabbed her over and over yesterday with blunt-edged cutting shears, declaring the vicious assault “morally right,” police said.

The horrifying attack took place late yesterday afternoon at the sorting facility in JFK’s Building 250.

Suddenly, 16-year veteran David Barnett, 55, of Jamaica, flew into a rage, grabbed the shears, and tackled Doris Lloyd, 65, holding her down while stabbing her seven times in the neck, face and arms, police said.

Fellow worker Pedro Mangehebre, 51, jumped in, peeling Barnett off the victim and holding him until cops arrived.

“I know what I did was legally wrong, but I was morally right!” Barnett allegedly screamed afterward.

Barnett had called his boss “a problem,” sources said, adding, “If she gives me a hard time today, I’m going to kill her.”

He was charged with attempted murder and assault.

Lloyd was taken to Jamaica Hospital, and was expected to survive.
