An out-of-control horse escaped its stable and ran into rush-hour traffic in Queens this morning, striking a car, authorities said.

The horse fled from Cedar Lane Stables in Tudor Park and got onto busy Linden Boulevard near South Conduit Avenue in Howard Beach around 8:20 a.m., where it ran into the car, which was stopped waiting for a red light, cops said.

The impact smashed the windshield of the car, which was being driven by a 50-year-old woman.

The animal suffered from a large gash in its chest, police said. The driver of the vehicle had some cuts to her face and was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, cops said.
