How cool is New York? Cooler than James Bond, James Dean and a Lamborghini Diablo put together.

A poll by a British newspaper found that the Big Apple is the 22nd coolest thing on Earth.

We’re one of only two cities to make the list of “100 Coolest Things on the Planet,” compiled by the London Sun. Las Vegas came in 39th.

So what is the coolest thing the world?

The iPhone. In fact, the phone, and its maker Apple, were Nos. 1 and 2 in the poll of 3,000 Brits.

The Internet came in third and the iPod fourth.
