Hubby busted in NJ mom slay
A day after the remains of missing New Jersey mom were discovered in a cement-filled drum, her husband was charged in the grisly case, it was reported last night.
Steven Acuna is being held on $1 million bail on murder charges, authorities told the Newark Star-Ledger.
Amanda Lehrer’s remains were found buried in cement in the basement of the couple’s Jersey City apartment building Friday.
She went missing Aug. 17 after a fight with Acuna. The killing was “in the context of a domestic-violence situation,” according to Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio.
