A man slit his wife’s throat before downing a bottle of pills in a grisly apparent murder-suicide in Inwood yesterday, police sources said.

The bodies of Jesus Soto, 56, and Yanet Soto, 54, were discovered in the couple’s bed around 11:20 a.m., when Yanet’s daughter and 12-year-old granddaughter returned to the family’s Arden Street apartment, cops said.

Yanet was cut from ear to ear. Pill containers were found near Jesus’ body.

Investigators believe that the husband likely overdosed after killing his wife.

The couple was last seen around 8 p.m. Friday, cops said, and they had no history of domestic violence.

The family has lived in the first-floor apartment for about 10 years.

“Everyone’s shaken up,” said a neighbor. “It’s really bad.”
