KINGSTON, NY — Rep. Maurice Hinchey wants the Hudson River Valley to become part of the National Park system.

The Hudson Valley Democrat has introduced legislation that would authorize the National Park Service to study whether the area could benefit from the designation, and then make recommendations to Congress.
