Human bones on LI beach
A woman found human skeletal remains in the sands of a Long Island beach while walking her dog Monday, cops said yesterday.
The unidentified bones — believed to be those of a woman in her 20s — were found near the shore of the Long Island Sound in Lattingtown. A gold necklace was also found.
It wasn’t clear if the bones could be linked to the Gilgo Beach serial killer. “We have no info connecting it to Gilgo Beach at this time,” an investigator said.
